One of the strongest assets Songer offers is the commitment to Safety. Songer understands that when construction logic is developed, it requires the extensive experience of our Corporate and Project Site Safety Team to be proactive to ensure the safety of our employees. We stand behind this statement. No project is truly successful if any of our employees are injured on our watch. Our corporate and project site safety personnel are dedicated to proactive planning to identify Permit Required Confined Space, Fall Protection, Lock Out/Tag Out, Breathing Air, Hazardous Material and Gas Monitoring applications. The use of Pre-Lift Crane and Rigging plans and Daily Task Planners are essential in our daily work operations.

With many years of experience, Songer’s safety Team has developed a strong working relationship with client management teams at various iron and steel facilities. Our Team enters each facility with the confidence to manage any situation. When the situation calls for the Safety Team to be reactive, such as, an emergency call out, the Team knows how to properly engage to ensure safe operations and stabilize risks. As with any emergency encountered, the Safety Team will engage all its experienced resources to quickly find safe, effective solutions to the challenging situations at hand. Songer’s safety team realizes that the hazards at each construction site are different. Prior to the start of work, the safety team mandates the development of a pre-job hazard analysis plan based on site specific hazards and the implementation of formal hazard analysis procedures.
In closing, Songer is very proud of its excellent safety record. The success of its safety performance can be confirmed by its current experience modification rate. Songer is truly committed to being our “brothers and sisters” keepers in the area of safe work performance.
